With support from the European Union we are bringing free Digital Skills training to more than 1,500 Women (aged 18-40) in selected states of the Niger Delta region in Nigeria.
High rate of unemployment (43.7%); Higher for women. Women tend to work in sectors that are less productive and more precarious, and earn lower wages. Also, women have lower educational attainment and lower access to critical skills such as digital skills that are often a prerequisite for many employers or are useful to support their business growth..

To contribute to closing the digital gender gap by getting involved at every stage of the journey of women, including their development of digital skills, their access to employment and entrepreneurship, the need for policy changes, and the need to address the barriers brought on by cultural and social norms.
Training duration depends on applicant's category but it takes approximately 1-3 months.
All person applying need be female aged 18-40 and resides in Rivers State particularly around Port Harcourt and Obio-Akpor LGAs. Prospective participant should have a smartphone and be willing to commit to the training duration.
This Training is organized in partnership with The European Union who is championing the aquisition of digital skills across Nigeria hence, this training is free.
