Conducted under their SDGs in Schools project, this transformative initiative unfolded at Happy Day International School in Rumunduru Community, located in the heart of Obio-akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State..
The school strike featured insightful lectures on climate change delivered by representatives from TalkLove Africa Foundation. Following the educational sessions, a symbolic tree planting ceremony was led by the organization's esteemed Executive Director, Mrs. Cynthia Obinwanne. She took the opportunity to address the students, emphasizing their pivotal roles as change agents for climate action within their communities. She highlighted the significance of tree planting as a tangible contribution to fostering a culture of climate consciousness.
