Volunteer Stories; From Scotland with Love!
Growing up, my nickname from my Mom was Mama because according to her, despite having two older sisters, I was very motherly and love to care for other people, especially children. I started my career in Customer service because I felt it was a way to care for other people, little did I know I could do greater service by volunteering. after joining my office volunteer team, I wanted more and I’m happy that as I write this, I am pursuing a new career in Social Work in Scotland something that felt impossible as some people told me they don’t admit Nigerians for the program.

My gratitude goes to God first and then to Talklove Africa Foundation for giving me a platform to build on my dream. I want to thank the President, Cynthia Obinwanne for being so kind and supportive, words cannot express my gratitude and like I have told her, I am still part of the family even though I am now even further than when I was in Lagos (lol). Thanks to my friend and sister Chinwe Obinwanne, I love you so much..
To everyone reading this, your dreams are valid. As you dream it, write it down and work towards it. It may seem impossible but is impossible not just a word?
